本論文分析兩部作品的英文翻譯與註釋，分別是從瓦歷斯．諾幹所著之《戰爭殘酷》摘錄的四章，以及夏曼．藍波安所著之《大海之眼：Mata nu Wawa》的第一章。筆者在分析中探討翻譯臺灣原住民文學的選詞用字、研究與策略，與該領域的其他譯者及學者進行比較。
