融入科學史與實驗教學對國二學生理化學習成效影響之研究--以「空氣的成分與性質」單元為例

本研究主要目的在探討融入科學史與實驗教學對國中學生理化學習成效之影響。本研究採用實驗研究法,樣本來自桃園縣某國中二年級學生,選取實驗組與對照組各一班35人,共70名學生。實驗組學生接受為期兩週共十堂課的融入科學史與實驗教學,對照組則接受傳統講述式教學,所有樣本先以「理化學習態度量表」進行前測,並蒐集所有樣本研究前之起點行為資料;待教學實驗完成後,進行「空氣的成分與性質」單元成就測驗及「理化學習態度量表」的後測。根據學生前測與後測的資料,分析比較實驗組與對照組學生在理化學習成就、理化學習態度上是否達顯著差異,以及實驗組學生在理化學習成就及理化學習態度上是否有顯著提升。此外,對實驗組學生進行半開放式的學習回饋問卷調查,進一步了解學生對融入科學史與實驗教學之心得感受。
就「空氣的成分與性質」單元而言,本研究的結果發現:
一、融入科學史與實驗的教學方式能提升學生的理化學習成就達顯著差異;且高分群學生的提升效果較為顯著。
二、融入科學史與實驗的教學方式能提升學生對理化科的學習態度達顯著差異;且低分群學生的提升效果較為顯著。
三、學生喜歡融入科學史與實驗的教學方式,有近九成的學生認為此教學方式有助於理化科學習;顯示融入科學史與實驗的教學方式對於學生的理化學習成效有正面影響。

Abstract The purpose of this research is to study the influence of integrating scientific history and laboratory teaching in physical science of junior high school. The sample of 70 students that were selected from the 8th grade students in Taoyuan County is employed for this study. The half of sample students was grouped into control and experimental ten teaching classes in the module of “Air composition and its characteristics” .The instruments of the achievement test, learning attitude measurement and questionnaire survey were used for the evaluation of the results. The findings of the teaching module “Air composition and its characteristics” from this action research are as follows: (1) The score of the achievement test for the experimental group is much better than that of the control group. Especially, the upper-half of experimental students is more remarkable in learning the more abstractable module. (2) The score of the learning attitude survey of the experimental group is much better than that of the control group. Interestingly, the lower-half of experimental students is much improved in learning attitude. (3) Nearly over 90% students of the questionnaire survey recognize this strategy to be helpful their learning in physical science.
