Abstract

以近年來我國的學生學習素養表現而言,數學素養相較其他國家為世界中的前列,但對於數學的喜好程度卻相較其他國家低。在108課綱強調以素養導向的學習趨勢中,數學的學習,也需要探索以什麼樣的新式教學教材,能夠引發學生學習數學的動機,以培養學生運用數學來解決問題的能力。透過文獻的檢閱,我們可以發現數學小說及電影,是新式的閱讀文類,透過分析電影中的數學內容,來引導學生進行閱讀、說故事的練習,進而達到數學普及的目的。在教學過程中,為提高學生對數學概念來源的興趣,會播放一些與數學相關的電影促進學生融入問題情境並主動思考,然而不同的電影類別與劇情分別有哪些關於數學的描述,以及數學內容與電影故事之間的關聯,本研究將以內容分析的方式,進行劇情敘事的分析,以及數學內容的探究。故希望藉由本研究來與讀者分享與探討,哪些電影中所提及的內容與敘事,是與數學概念相關的,影片中的編排又是為何需要藉由數學知識的引用,作為劇情效果的安排。也希望藉由本研究報告,提供同樣為數學教育的教師一個參考與分享,討論以電影媒體的素材,作為提升學生數感與學習動機的教學媒介,讓學生體會從理解數學,樂於運用數學,到養成愛用數學的素養與習慣。
In recent years, the performance of students in our country regarding mathematical literacy has ranked among the top in the world compared to other countries. However, the level of enthusiasm for mathematics is comparatively lower than in other nations. Exploring new teaching materials and methods for mathematics becomes crucial to ignite students' motivation to learn and cultivate their problem-solving abilities through mathematics. By analyzing mathematical content within films, students can be guided to engage in reading and storytelling exercises, ultimately achieving the goal of promoting mathematical literacy. During the teaching process, to enhance students' interest in the origins of mathematical concepts, some films related to mathematics are screened to encourage students to immerse themselves in problem scenarios and think actively. Furthermore, this research report aims to provide educators in mathematics education with valuable insights and suggestions on how to select movie materials as teaching media to enhance students' mathematical sense and motivation. This approach aims to help students progress from understanding mathematics to willingly applying it and eventually developing a genuine fondness and habit for using mathematics.
