zh_TW
Auricular acupressure stimulation is using solid objects attached to stimulate acupuncture points for body adjustment, treatment, or physical function recovery. Previous studies had found that ear acupoint stimulation could reduce the RPE and blood lactate. After exercise-induced fatigue, the auricular point stimulation can improve to keeping autonomic nervous function homeostasis. Recent literatures were mostly focused on immediate recovery for a short time, however the topic of literature was less on athletic performance. Purpose: The purpose of this study is to investigate the influences of auricular acupressure stimulation on sport performances in female college students. Methods: Twelve female college students were recruited and finished the 3 experiments by balance sequence. Experiments was including control group (CG), acute auricular acupressure stimulation group (ASG), and short-term auricular acupressure stimulation group (SSG). Both experiments proceed in an interval of one week. The exercise performance challenge test was conducted in 30-meters sprint run, 5-km running, and the blood lactate, blood glucose, and LF/HF ratio were measured among before, after press, and recovery phase. All data were analyzed by one way repeated measure ANOVA and two way repeated measure ANOVA. Results: 1.Auricular acupressure stimulation can significantly enhance the 30-meters sprint performance (p< .05), but not 5-km running performance (p > .05). 2. Auricular acupressure stimulation can significantly make the lactic acid removed rapidly in the recovery after 30 meters sprint (p < .05), but not in 5-km running (p > .05). Conclusion: Auricular acupressure stimulation can effectively improve the performance of 30-meters sprint on female college students, and can significantly make the lactic acid removed rapidly in the recovery after 30-meters sprint. But the relevant mechanisms still needto be discussed. We suggest that can be used in a timely manner to promote the sport performances.en_US
