Abstract

In this study, 50 Army Aviation trainee pilots served as subjects, with an average age of 24.58 ± 1.13 years, with an average height of 172.29 ± 5.70 cm and an average body weight of 68.52 ± 6.32 kg. According to the pre-test scores, they were divided into two groups (Control Group, Experimental Group), 25 in each group. The control group remained the original army's daily schedule and regular physical training, and the experimental group intervened in the High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) for four minutes for three weeks (every Monday, Wednesday and Friday) for a total of 12 weeks. At the end training, the two groups were conducted three tests: (1) two minutes sit-ups; (2) two minutes push-ups and; (3) 3000 meters running. Adapting "Independent-Sample T Test and Paired-Sample T Test" to test the homogeneity of the two groups before receiving training and the difference after accomplishing training. The significant level is set as α = .05. Results: The average difference between the two groups in body composition, two minutes sit-ups, two minutes push-ups and 3000 meters running test were 22.25 ± 1.58, 52.12 ± 8.12, 58.24 ± 5.59 and 808.31 ± 61.91, both reached a statistically significant level (p<.05). Conclusion: Under the intervention of 12 weeks of High Intensity Interval Training, Physical Fitness Test result of ROCA Aviation Pilots can be improved.
