企業與政府目前所共同面對的問題是勞動人力的流失,如何留住勞動者成為企業與政府必須解決的問題。而其中,職業婦女在經濟的參與上,也與國家總體經濟的發展以及國家競爭力有莫大關聯,近年來婦女勞動力參與率比例提高為全球經濟發展的顯著改變之一。臺灣的婦女勞動參與率逐年提升,婦女投入職場比例增加。過去少有針對職業婦女的離職因素上多有著墨。職業婦女勞動的議題越來越受到重視,對職業婦女勞動的定位應重新予以思考。 因此本研究將探討職業婦女離開職場的因素。過去的研究多從結構面切入,而缺少從職業婦女的角度出發,探討職業婦女面對衝突時,為何決定離職。如何提昇職業婦女留任於公司的策略,找尋可能影響員工留任與離職的因素。對於推動職業婦女兼顧照顧家庭與工作共容的企業策略與政策制訂來說,這群職業婦女的真實聲音,值得被慎重地考量。
