自閉症兒童的語言教學,除了必須配合身心特質與獨特的學習風格,尚需參酌歷年語言教學取向,期能對兒童提供有效的教學方法,促進語言的發展與成另的類化。本文依據相關研究文獻,沿循發展順序歸納出歷年自閉症語言教學取向,並發現各時期採用方法隨著特教思潮之風行而變化。不過,如何有效提昇自閉症兒童較複雜抽象語言能力及突破類化仍是古今重要的課題。這些教學雖在實際應用上仍有缺失或限制,但其特色與成效皆值得做為未來教學之考量。
