dc.description.abstract | 工作假期(Working Holiday)是一種新型態的休假形式,在西方社會已行之有年,工作假期透過親力親為的方式重新改寫一般觀光的走馬看花,真實地與當地文化交流,對個體生命產生刺激與影響。本研究目的為探討工作假期參與者參與動機及體驗歷程,且深入瞭解工作假期參與經驗對職涯發展是否有所影響。 本研究採用質性研究進行,於2010年3、4月針對曾經參與國外工作假期至少1年並已返回臺灣工作1年以上者為研究對象進行深度訪談。經由資料分析發現研究結果為:一、參與工作假期的動機分成四類,包括「體驗生活」、「工作倦怠」、「學習探索」及「籌措旅費」,參與動機絕非僅是單一因素,往往都是多重因素交織而成。二、工作假期參與者在體驗歷程中,最大的印象及收獲都是因為「人」這個原素,包含了外在的友誼建立,及內在的自我瞭解。三、工作假期對參與者個人的影響層面包含了語言能力的進步、處事能力的提升、決策能力的鍛鍊及生活態度的改變。四、工作假期參與者的參與動機會影響工作假期體驗歷程,且參與動機與目的也已經間接呈現參與者希冀從工作假期中獲得及尋找歸依,最後將決定是否影響工作假期結束後的職涯選擇及職能表現。本研究結果將有助於未來有意從事國外工作假期者之參考。 | zh_TW |
dc.description.abstract | Working holiday is a new travelling type and popular style in Western countries for many years. It recasts the stereotype of tourism through interchange of local culture, which stimulates and affects individual life. The purposes of this study were to investigate the participating motivation and sequences of working holiday participants, and to further study whether experience of working holiday will affect the career development. The research applies the method of qualitative in-depth interviews of people who had been to participate in working holiday at least one year and came back to work in Taiwan for at least one year during March and April in 2010. The main findings through data analysis of this study were concluded as follows:1. Participating motivation can be divided into four types, including experience life, burnout, learning and exploration, and raise travelling expense. Participating motivation is not merely single factor; it is usually a combination of multi-factors. 2. During the sequences of working holiday, the most impression and results is the factor of human. It includes the external friendship building and internal self-understanding. 3. The effects of working holiday participants can be viewed in several perspectives: improving the ability of language; progressing the ability of dealing with people and situations; having the ability of decision making; changing the life attitude. 4. The participating motivation of working holiday participants can impact their sequences. Motivation and purpose of participants also indirectly showed that they would like to obtain and find belonging, which finally will show the influence of the career selection and competence after working holiday. The study results will contribute to people who are intent to participate in working holiday. | en_US |
