影視教材融入東亞史教學的實踐 —以電影《鳴梁:怒海交鋒》為中心

Abstract

電影不僅是一種藝術形式,也是一種強大的教學工具。它能通過視覺和聽覺的方式,將歷史事件以影像的形式呈現出來,從而加深學生對歷史的認識。電影《鳴梁》將背景設定在朝鮮王朝時期的壬辰戰爭,講述了朝鮮水軍與日本水軍的對抗,特別是李舜臣將軍在極端劣勢下的驚人勝利。《鳴梁》在韓國取得了巨大的票房成功,並成為韓國影史上最賣座的電影之一,它不僅擁有強烈的視覺效果,也帶來了深刻的教學價值。本次研究旨在《鳴梁》的教學實踐,以此來評估學生對於影片所呈現的歷史事件的理解程度,並測試它在東亞史課程中的教學成效。預計在觀影後,讓學生完成學習單,通過問答的方式來深入分析電影中的每一個情節,除此之外也要執行辯論課,讓學生針對電影的虛實問題進行辯論。此次的教學方式期盼學生不要只是被動地接受影片所呈現的內容,而是能夠獨立思考所學到的歷史知識,以及觀察製片方、導演等人對影片的影響。在我國「十二年國民教育」政策之下,「108新課綱」已經對歷史教學提出了新的目標,希冀學生第二冊的學習視角能拓展到整個東亞地區,擁有更宏觀的東亞史視角。然而,教科書因諸多原因,編撰內容有限,或多或少有未盡之處。對於跨足東亞三國的「壬辰戰爭」並沒有太多描述,為了彌補此一缺憾,影視教材將成為此次研究中最主要使用的教學媒介,並且呈現執行的成效以及觀察。
Movies are not only a form of art but also a powerful educational tool. They can visually and audibly present historical events, deepening students' understanding of history. The film "Roaring Currents" is set during the Imjin War in the Joseon Dynasty, depicting the naval battle between the Korean and Japanese fleets, particularly highlighting General Yi Sun-sin's remarkable victory against extreme odds. "Roaring Currents" achieved tremendous box office success in South Korea, becoming one of the highest-grossing films in Korean cinematic history. It not only boasts strong visual effects but also carries profound educational value. This study aims to implement teaching practices using"Roaring Currents" to assess students' understanding of the historical events presented in the film and evaluate its effectiveness in East Asian history courses. After viewing the film, students will complete worksheets, engaging in detailed analyses of each scene through question-and-answer sessions. Additionally, debate sessions will be conducted to allow students to discuss the authenticity and fictionality of the film. The teaching approach intends to encourage students not only to passivelyabsorb the content presented in the movie but also to independently contemplate the historical knowledge acquired and observe the impact of the film's production team, directors, and others. Under our country's "Twelve-Year Basic Education" policy, the "New Curriculum of 108" has set new goals for history education, hoping that students' perspectives in the second semester will expand to the entire East Asian region, with a broader East Asian historical perspective. However, due to various reasons, textbooks have limitations, and there may be areas left unexplored. The "Imjin War," spanning three East Asian countries, is not extensively covered. To address this gap, audio-visual materials will be the primary teaching medium in this study, showcasing the effectiveness of implementation and observations.
