Abstract

近期研究指出有別於職位權力與個人權力的第三種權力基礎:關係權力。關係權力深植於華人社會的人際關係概念中,同時也是在華人文化下運作的組織中難以忽視的權力基礎。關係權力在繼任接班之路上特別關鍵,因前任領導者所遺留下的關係結構,會影響到繼任者所能運用、拓展與改變的關係權力。本研究以前總統李登輝繼任總統過程為個案範圍,時間集中在1988年至1993年間,透過相關次級資料分析,歸納出李登輝運用的五種關係權力戰術。最後,我持續探討這樣的關係權力戰術對企業內部繼任與外來空降領導者的適用性與管理意涵。
The recent research has identified a new source of power, relational power, along with the traditional distinction of position and personal power. Relational power is rooted in the Chinese guanxi intricacies and cannot be overlook in the organizations operating in the Chinese cultural contexts. This is particularly important in the succession process as relational power can often create reluctancy and other negative impacts to the successors. In this study, my thesis is centered on how a successor could use different relational power tactics to facilitate the succession process. I collect and analyze a case of Lee Teng-Hui between 1988 and 1993. I identified a total of 5 different relational power tactics and discussed their implications to succession process in the Chinese cultural contexts.
