Abstract

本研究旨在探討動物輔助活動對憂鬱傾向青少年之影響,研究目的包括主要為探討動物輔助活動團體對憂鬱傾向青少年之影響,其次是探討動物輔助活動團體之實施與應用。研究方法採用行動研究法,資料蒐集採量化與質性資料兩種方式,量化資料採用「國中小學生憂鬱篩檢量表」進行前後測,質性資料從團體紀錄表、成員回饋單、訪談紀錄及研究者日誌中取得。研究對象先經過「青少年憂鬱情緒自我檢視表」進行初步篩選,篩選出參考量表結果分數高於12分以上的同學再採取立意取樣,經由導師或輔導老師篩選及推薦後招募到四位國中學生,進行共八次動物輔助治療團體,每次45分鐘。本研究結果發現在量化結果上未獲一致性結果,但質性資料中顯示成員隨著動物輔助活動團體的進行,成員增進對自我、負向情緒及紓解憂鬱的認識,學習自我照顧及檢視自我狀態的方法,學習紓壓、宣洩情緒、降低憂鬱與焦慮情緒,獲得表達情緒及人際互動的正向經驗,並透過行動研究檢討動物輔助活動團體方案的設計與進行,經過不斷的修正與調整,建立一套能應用於憂鬱傾向青少年之團體方案。因此,建議在未來輔導實務上,能將動物輔助治療納入介入處遇的項目,做為輔導工作的參考。
The purpose of the study is to investigate the impact of an animal-assisted activity program on the young adolescents with depression inclination, and to examine the process of the program implementation and application. The action research method was used to collect quantitative and qualitative evidence. A preliminarily screening test was conducted to purposively select the student who may appear some depression inclination (e.g. the score of the youth depressive emotional scale is higher than 12 points), and should be recommended by the instructor as well. Total 4 young adolescents with depression inclination were recruited, and committed in the program for 8 weeks (once a week). The quantitative results of this study showed no consistent improvement after the intervention, but the qualitative result revealed more positive outcome, such as higher level of self awareness, lower stress level as relief. Subjects also reported that they learned how to perform self-care and self-examination, how to relieve feelings, reduce depressive emotion and anxiety, and how to gain positive experience through interacting with the dog. To conduct a reassessment of the animal-assisted group counseling through the action research, this thesis provide a protocol that might be applied to the young adolescents with depression inclination.
