zh_TW
With the low birth-rate in the 21st century, most parents prefer their children not to take up low-level labor jobs; even though, the craft skills education in Taiwan has been practiced for so many years. As far as social value is concerned, people see the world divided by the white-collar and blue-collar workers; completely ignoring the value of the centennial craftsmanship in Taiwan, and the innovation of “Purple-collar workers” in the global environment. In the past, these traditional craftsmen and craft art creators have made Taiwan proud with the reputation of century-old craftsmanship. However, the traditional craft skills that Taiwan used to have now are rarely found. Therefore, the “A Feasibility Study of Implementing the Traditional Mentor Inheritance System in Modern Technical Vocational and Art Higher Education-A Case Study of the Craftsmanship Heritage” is proposed to analyze the loss of skills in Taiwan's traditional industries that has made it impossible to pass on the traditional arts. In this study, the five main facets are the talent training, the possibility of implementing different academic systems, the limitation of the practice venues, and the cross department cooperation, as well as the analysis of past successful stories. From there, to find out the new approach of the craft skills education, further to propose another way of cooperation between the industries and the academies. Themethod of the study is to analyze the data collecting through online information, academic journals, literature materials, questionnaires and in-depth interviews. The conclusion of the study can work as the suggestions for follow-up use.en_US
