Abstract
As a portable and a musical instrument with rich harmony, the accordion has spread all over the world from its birthplace Europe. It has emerged with various music genres in different regions and has become an exceptional type itself. Accordion also took an indispensable role in the history of Taiwanese popular music, from post-war music productions and recordings to"Nakasi" tradition in the Beitou hot spring area, accordion's sound lingered. As an accordionist myself, to promote and make accordion great again, writer is producing an instrumental recording album in pop crossover style. The album "Chanson de Taipei" is mainly produced, composed and arranged by writer, which includes 10 tracks with total length about 40 minutes. Various types of accordion, double bass, piano, guitar and violin are the main instruments in the arrangements. This written reportis an interpretation of the album, which analyzes its planning, tracks and production process.
