Abstract

本研究主要目的在了解國中智能障礙學生父母對親職教育的需求內容與實施方式,並比較兩種受試父母喜愛的方式之親職教育成效。 本研究的研究對象為三名國中智能障礙學生的父母親,第一階段先了解受試父母對親職教育的需求內容與實施方式,第二階段採單一受試研究法之交替處理設計為研究方法,比較「電話諮詢」和「相關資料提供」兩種實施方式的親職教育成效。研究工具為自編之:「國中智能障礙學生父母親職教育需求調查表」、「親職教育學習單」、「親職教育評量單」、「親職教育回饋單」等四種工具,所得量化資料使用視覺分析及C統計進行考驗,質性資料以文字敘述呈現。本研究的研究結果如下: 1.從調查表中獲得受試父母親職教育的需求內容是「生涯規劃」與「社會資源」,實施方式是「電話諮詢」和「相關資料提供」。 2.在量化資料上,顯示三位受試父母在「電話諮詢」的親職教育成效均優於「相關資料提供」。 3.在質性資料上,三位受試父母均對親職教育有正向的評 價,但是沒有比較出兩種實施方式的優劣。 本研究並針對教學上的事項以及未來研究提出建議。
The purpose of this study was (a) to investigate the needs and implementations of parenting education of the parents of children with mental retardation in junior high school, and (b) to compare and contrast the effects on two implementation modes favored by participants. The subjects of this study consisted of three parents of children with mental retardation in junior high school.The first procedure was to explore the parenting education needs and types of implementation of the subjects. The second procedure was to compare the parenting education effects on telephone consultation and paper reading through the alternating treatment design of single subject research. The tools employed consisted of the following: “The Questionnaire on the Needs for Parenting Education of the Parents of Children with Mental Retardation in Junior High School” , “The Parenting Education Worksheets” , “The Parenting Education Tests” ,and “The Parenting Education Feedback Evaluation” . The main results of the research were listed as follows: (a) two of the most needed parenting education items were life planning and social resources, whereas the implementation modes were telephone consultation and paper reading; (b) all the three subjects performed better on telephone consultation than on paper reading; and (c) they all had positive evaluation for parenting education, but could not tell which was better. The study also provides some suggestions and recommendations for applications and future studies.
