TVBS「2100全民開講」製播「林來瘋」特輯之探討

Abstract

本研究之目的在以媒體守門人的角度分析臺灣政論性節目「2100全民開講」針對林書豪議題製作4集特輯，探究林來瘋現象背後隱含之臺灣國族認同、運動商品化和運動與教育的課題。由於研究者是製作團隊中的一員，所以研究者以參與觀察法和文本分析法，並以半結構式訪談政論節目製作人與同業3人，收集林書豪特輯製播過程的資料。研究結果發現：林書豪在臺掀起旋風，臺灣媒體大肆報導建構林書豪臺裔的議題，引發全民高度關注，促使政論節目製作團隊嘗試製播運動議題。節目中設定與操作亞洲的想像做為主軸議題，針對美臺籃球運動、林書豪賽事的專業分析、美臺的籃球水平、訓練方式、文化與教育，再現臺灣的國族想像。政論節目結合林書豪的運動與教育議題讓一系列特輯，收視率不但高於同時段的政論節目，亦高於節目本身平均值。不僅只是運動愛好族群觀看，原本政論收視族群亦仍感興趣持續收看。研究結論：經由研究者發掘、製播林書豪現象的過程，透過節目針對林書豪的議題建構與議題設定操作，成為節目獲得收視佳績的關鍵。The purpose of this study was to analyze the four “Linsanity” special episodes produced by the “2100 citizen talk show”- a Taiwanese political TV program through the perspective of “media goalkeepers”. The study explores the Taiwanese national identity, sports commercialization, sports and education issues behind Jeremy Lin’s sensation. As a member of the program produce team, the researcher collects research data by using participation observation, textual analysis and semi-structured interviews with the program producers and 3 peers. It was found that Jeremy Lin had caused a sensation in Taiwan and numerous media reports get people’s attention by focusing on his Taiwanese-American identity. These caused the program team tried to produce sport topic. The special episodes set Asian imagination as the main issue. Through the professional analyses of Jeremy Lin’s events, the level of basketball in America and Taiwan, way of training, culture and education, reproduced Taiwan's national imagination. The political program combined Jeremy Lin‘s sports and education issues make the special episodes’ rating higher than similar programs and also higher than the average of the program itself. Not only did Jeremy’s fans watched the show, but the original audience are interested as well. In conclusion, exploring “Linsanity” topic into special episodes, the program conducts topic construction and topic setting became the keys to success.
