Abstract

Service learning opportunities for students today create valuable experiences not only in school, but also develop new awarenesses about how to share talents toenhance the development of community. This paper discussed definitions of service learning and methods of conducting service learning. The presented examples demonstrate different ways to implement service learning. It is evident that the gains from these opportunities are fundamental to community and individual growth.
