dc.description.abstract大型重型機車活動族群日益擴大,顯然已成為國人休閒的一環。 zh_TW
Big-sized Heavy Motorcycle activity groups are expanding and have clearly become a national leisure. The purpose of this study was to understand the background characteristics and current situation of the participants of the Big-sized Heavy Motorcycle. Furthermore, this study analyzed the differences in sensation seeking, perceived risk, and self-efficacy among participants with different background characteristics, and then to clarify the relationship between sensation seeking, perceived risk, and self-efficacy. By adopting convenience sampling, members in Facebook groups and Line groups related to Big-sized Heavy Motorcycle were collected as well as on participants of events at Kansai Hall Coffee and 7-ELEVEN Tianye Store. A total of 849 valid questionnaires were collected using the Sensation Seeking Scale, Perceived Risk, Self-Efficacy Scale and Riders Characteristics as research instruments. Descriptive Statistics, Independent Sample t-Test, One-way ANOVA, Pearson Correlation, Canonical Correlation, Hierarchical Regression and Multiple Regression were adopted to analyze the data. The finding of this study are as follows:1. Most of the Big-sized Heavy Motorcycle respondents are male, unmarried, young and middle-aged, with a monthly income of 20,000~40,000. Also, most of them participate in activities less than once or 1-2 times a week, and do not join the motorcade.2. Increasing the frequency of activities and joining the motorcade will help participants improve their self-efficacy.3. Sensation seeking and perceived risk are effective predictors of self-efficacy, with the Experience Seeking and Satisfaction Risk constructs having the most predictive power.4. Sensation seeking was significantly associated with perceived risk, with high sensation seeking participants significantly perceiving higher financial, physical, and social risks. Therefore, this study suggests that participants of Big-sized Heavy Motorcycle can explore more and try unfamiliar things to increase their acceptance of novelty and try to reduce satisfaction risk perception to increase their self-efficacy. Additionally, they can also maintain a certain degree of self-efficacy by increasing the frequency of activities and joining motor clubs. Finally, participants need to strengthen the physical, functional, and social risk awareness as much as possible.en_US
