人文地理學概論-發展地理學/經濟地理學二部分譯評：

Abstract

本篇論文是對我在2001年9月至12月間所翻譯的「人文地理學概論」（Introducing Human Geographies）一書第二部分「主題」中「發展地理學」及「經濟地理學」的中文翻譯所做的譯評。在此次的譯評中，作者首先就「人文地理學概論」一書的寫作編輯及翻譯者的背景作大致的介紹。接下來引用劉宓慶教授「翻譯與文體」一書中對各類文體的界定，來給「人文地理學概論」作文體上的分類和分析，並企圖找出面對此類文體及其特性時所應採用的翻譯策略。同時，也針對譯文中的錯誤和誤解之處作出批評和改正。在「問題與討論」的部分，則對在翻譯時發現的語調筆法問題，以原作─譯者─讀者之間的關係來試圖進行新的思維和討論。最後則總結意見，根據此次翻譯的經驗，探討翻譯者在面對如「人文地理學概論」類型文章的翻譯時，所應採取的策略為何。

The purpose of this thesis is to review the Chinese translation of the book “Introducing Human Geographies”. Aside from the introduction to the basic content of the book and the background of translators, stylistic analysis was also conducted on the content and Chinese translation with the reference of Dr. Liu Miqing’s methodology of analysis. The hope of this review is to attempt to find out the suitable strategies needed for this kind of translation. A general review and discussion of the mistake translator made in the process of translation was also conducted. In the part of “Question and Discussion”, new thoughts and perspectives about the author-translator-reader relations were also discussed and reviewed.
