管弦樂應用於流行音樂中之探討與實踐-以《當燈光熄滅》創作專輯為例

Abstract

根據資料顯示，古典音樂市場日漸式微，為尋求突破，開始於歌曲中加入各項元素，於流行歌曲中加入爵士風格、地方風格樂器以及管弦樂配器，進而達到突破。 筆者透過研究加入管絃樂編曲之流行樂團、金屬樂團、爵士樂團所創作歌曲，依創作動機、編曲、曲風等做分析，探討樂曲中加入管弦樂編曲之創作手法，了解其衝突及尋找更多可能性。 《當燈光熄滅》專輯以筆者生活紀錄、人生記事、社會亂象等題材，以第一人稱、第三人稱、社會觀察者的腳色為立基，透過詞曲創作表達其觀點與想法，並透過數位音樂編曲、數位管弦樂編曲。 透過先詞曲後編曲、詞曲編曲同時創作等兩種不同編曲方式，探究其特色及優缺點，找出更好方式完成詞曲、編曲、聲響得以完成《當燈光熄滅》這張專輯。

The classical music market is declining, according to research. Certain elements have been added to songs as a result and a way to break away from the old model. Jazz, local style instruments, and orchestral arrangements have been added to pop songs as a breakthrough.

The author studied pop bands, metal bands, and jazz bands incorporating orchestral composition, and analyzed the creative process, categorizing them by their creative motivation, arrangement, and style. This research explored the creative method of adding orchestral arrangement to music, so as to understand its conflicts and enable more possibilities.

The album"When the Lights Off" represents the author’s life records, life accounts, and the disorder in the society, interchanging first person and third person point of view as a social observer. With that as a foundation, the author expresses his views and ideas through songwriting, digital music arrangement, and digital orchestral arrangement.

Through two different ways of arrangements: lyrics first and then the arrangement, versus the simultaneous creation of lyrics and arrangement, the author explores the different characteristics, the advantages, and the disadvantages of the two approaches, as a means to discover more better ways to complete the song, arrangement, and sound, and finalize the album “When the Lights Off.”
