運用五聲音階創作福音歌曲之分析與研究-以《吾生知音》專輯為例

Abstract

本研究旨在以「五聲音階」為基底，搭配爵士樂理之「常用和弦」及「特殊和弦」，譜寫六首隱喻型福音歌曲，有別於傳統天主教聖樂風格，此專輯的音樂風格偏向流行音樂，歌詞意境亦跨越宗教的藩籬，讓更多非基督宗教者也能從中獲得安慰與感動，因此，在創作的過程中，特別將這些音樂元素和專輯理念，融入每一首歌中，是具有計畫與巧思的實驗性音樂創作。本專輯的內容主要以「耶穌的一生」為背景，配合每個階段，設定不同的精神意向和氛圍，音樂創作方法，歌詞方面：著重在「字詞與曲調的配合」、「雙關語的解釋」，音樂方面：著重在「旋律」及「和弦」的變化方式。為使讀者對每首歌的詞曲有深度的瞭解，亦在章節中有精細的分析和探究，之後，訪問三類受訪者：「教友」、「非教友」、「音樂人」，得到本研究相關結論：（一）經過精心設計安排的歌詞創作，有達到「雙關語－隱喻型福音歌曲」的目標；（二）五聲音階調式使用及和弦配置，與聽眾對歌曲的感受有很大的關係。本研究最後，提出建議給福音歌曲創作者，提高其創作的質量和吸引力，讓這些歌曲更具深度和情感。

This study aims to compose six metaphorical gospel songs based on"pentatonic scale," and accompanied by "common chords" and "special chords" of jazz music. These songs are different from the traditional sacred music of Catholic church, which lean more towards popular music. This will overcome religious barriers, offering comfort and inspiration to a wider audience beyond Christianity. Therefore, during the composition process, these musical elements and the album's concept are intentionally integrated into each song, making it an experimental music composition with careful planning and innovation.The content of this album is primarily centered around"The Life of Jesus," aligning different spiritual intentions and atmospheres with each stage. The methods of music composition emphasize "the synergy between lyrics and melody," and "interpretation of double meanings." In terms of music, the focus emphasises on "melody" and "chord progressions." To provide readers with a deeper understanding on the lyrics and music of each song, detailed analyses are presented within the chapters. Subsequently, interviews were conducted with three categories ofrespondents: "Catholics" "non- Catholics", and "music experts". The following conclusions are made from this study: (1) Carefully crafted lyrics successfully achieve the goal of "double-meaning metaphorical gospel songs"; (2) The use of the pentatonic scale and chord configurations greatly influences the listeners' perception of the songs. In conclusion, this study provides recommendations for gospel song composers to enhance the quality and appeal of their compositions, making their songs moreprofound and emotionally resonant.
