Abstract
現今家族企業面臨眾多問題,並對企業的長期發展和家族關係產生負面影響。本篇將問題聚焦在家族間的情感問題上,並從社會情感理論的角度來觀察基金會對家族企業凝聚力的影響;根據SEW理論,家族企業的凝聚力受到多個要素的影響,這裡認為透過基金會的建立和運作,家族企業能夠增強家族成員之間的情感聯繫、信任和承諾,從而促進家族成員之間的溝通和理解,同時減輕衝突和矛盾,進一步促進凝聚力的提升。當中主要是將該理論分成三個面向探討基金會對家族企業的影響,包括基金會對社會的影響、基金會對企業內部的影響、基金會對家族成員情感影響。通過這三個面向的探討,發現了構成基金會提升凝聚力的要素,分別為為企業之專業與基金會的活動相呼應、基金會數量單一、企業成員將基金會作為夢想的實踐的平台。此外,研究還發現許多家族企業將基金會作為控股機構的情況。這種情形可能可以為家族成員帶來好處,例如確保家族成員能夠掌握企業的主控權,以及讓成員之間的利益關係變得更加緊密;然而,控股也可能帶來一些壞處,像是基金會成為家族成員所爭奪的對象,導致基金會失去原本慈善的目的等。本研究主要探討了基金會對家族企業凝聚力的重要作用,並期望企業未來可以更佳的善用非營利組織來實現社會責任,同時實現企業的長期經營與永續發展。
Family businesses today face numerous challenges that have negative effects on both the long-term development of the business and family relationships. This article focuses on the emotional issues within the family and observes the impact of a non-profit organization on the cohesion of the family business from the perspective of Socioemotional Wealth (SEW). Based on the SEW, cohesion within a family business is influenced by various factors. It is believed that through the establishment and operation of a non-profit organization, family businesses can enhance emotional connections, communication, trust, understanding, and commitment among family members, while also reducing conflicts and tensions.The article specifically examines the impact of the non-profit organization on three factors: the influence on society, internal business dynamics, and emotions of family members. Through this exploration, elements contributing to increased cohesion through the non-profit organization are identified. These elements align with the non-profit organization's activities with the business's expertise, having a single foundation, and the members using the non-profit organization as a platform to realize their dreams. Additionally, the study reveals that many family businesses utilize the non-profit organization as a holding institution. This arrangement can bring benefits to family members, such as ensuring their control over the business and strengthening the interconnectedness of their interests. However, holding arrangements can also have downsides, such as the non-profit organization becoming a source of conflict among family members or deviating from its original charitable purpose.The study primarily focuses on the significant role of non-profit organizations in enhancing cohesion within family businesses. It hopes that in the future, businesses can better utilize non-profit organizations to fulfill their social responsibilities while achieving long-term sustainability and development.
