三位育有學齡前兒童全職媽媽休閒生活之敘說研究

Abstract

本研究目的旨在探討全職媽媽休閒參與之歷程和其在面臨阻礙時所產生的因應策略。本研究以三位育有學齡前兒童之全職媽媽為研究參與者,採敘說研究方法進行,經由研究參與者講述自身的經驗與觀點後,透過研究者的視野寫成故事,呈現研究參與者的樣貌。研究結果發現:全職媽媽休閒時深受母職角色之限制,因而呈現出陪同型休閒、附帶型學習、他控式休閒的特性;在時間限制下,則產生縫隙式休閒、延遲性休閒的因應策略。孩子出生是已婚婦女休閒行為的分水嶺,自此之後,婦女的休閒生活在母職實踐的前提下,多以滿足子女的需求為中心。研究建議政府相關機構可以提供補助托育,讓全職媽媽培養更多元的休閒活動,協助全職媽媽瞭解或參與休閒。對於全職媽媽的休閒選擇、規劃與參與等相關權利以及休閒權之保障與尊重,政府相關機構可站在輔助者的角色,去幫助全職媽媽建構其該享有的休閒權利。
The purpose of this study is to research the full time mother’s leisure participation and to explore the full time mother’s leisure constraints and response strategies. The method of narrative research is adopted in this study. The participants in this research include three full time mothers with preschool children. By research participants’ experiences and viewpoints, researcher wrote their life stories. The results indicate that the full time mother’s leisure behavior is mostly constrained by their motherhood roles; as a result, the full time mothers usually share their leisure with children and also learn whatever their children learn. The full time mother’s leisure activities were controlled not by themselves but others. Because of limitations on their spare time, the full time mothers have to confine their leisure activities to a limited time, and most suppress their leisure demands until their children grow up .Results indicate that having a first child makes a great impact on the married women’s leisure behavior. After that, the married women’s leisure life is focused on fulfilling children’s needs. The government can help the full time mothers to construct the rights which can ensure and respect that the rights of choice, planning and participation.
