zh_TW

The data analysis methodologies include descriptive statistics, one-way analysis of variance, Pearson product-moment correlation coefficient, and multiple regression analysis. The research results were summarized as below:1. There are significant differences in perceived health status across different ages and years of yoga participation.2. There are significant differences in well-being status across ages, marital status, and years of yoga participation.3. Perceived health status and well-being of participants in yoga courses are positively correlated.4. The well-being of yoga participants can be predicted by their perceived health status. The benefits of yoga go beyond physical fitness and relaxation. It also stimulates the groupness of the participants, which increases individuals’ sense of belonging in modern society. With the observation, this study proposes recommendations on how to promote participation and awareness in yoga to develop national-wide fitness and exercise habits.
