Abstract
本研究是以敘事探究的方式,敘說三位高度智商資優生的成長故事,並建構高度智商資優生的家庭經驗,包含家庭環境、成長歷程中的重要事件、家庭互動關係和教養高度智商兒童觀點。
以播放一段紀錄片之意向,分六個章節撰寫:一、為何說故事:說明研究高度智商的動機和理由;二、前情提要:透過回顧高度智商資優、家庭經驗和親子關係等相關文獻整理,理解「家庭系統」、「家庭經驗」的意義,構築敘說故事的框架、脈絡;三、手中腳本:此部分說明為何以質性研究取向、說明敘事探究的內涵、說明研究工具、參與者如何選取、介紹資料分析方法以及如何增進品質與遵守研究倫理;四、高度智商資優生的家庭故事:分別敘說三位高度智商資優生的家庭、成長記事與母親教養心聲;五、故事的背後——解讀家庭經驗:此部分呈現持續比較法分析整體資料內容,形成代表家庭經驗的主題類別,並同時與過去研究對話;六、故事延續:此部分為研究者整理之高度智商資優生的家庭經驗形式,以及給未來研究及建議。
本研究呈現之高度智商資優生家庭經驗的樣貌、成長歷程和互動關係,能給予其他資優生家庭在經營家庭互動關係或教養資優子女上,擁有正向之參考價值,也期待未來研究探索更多不同樣貌的家庭經驗。
This study is based on a narrative inquiry, which tells growing-up stories of three highly gifted students including their family atmosphere, significant events, interaction of family members and concepts of parenting highly gifted children. In the process, I reviewed past researches and articles about family experience and family psychology to build up a storyline of this study. Following the qualitative practice to pick up participants individually till information satisfied. I, eventually, choose three highly gifted students and their mother to be my participants. By telling stories form their birth to every growing phase, their mother also shared experience on parenting a gifted child. Findings revealed their growing-up environment which filled with intimacy, concern and respect. They also experienced several similar events includes their first highly intellectual performance, how to be an identified gifted student and how they suffered from their perfectionism, sense of responsibility and excellent ability. Furthermore, I described their family activities and how to improve relationship between child and parents. In lack of the highly gifted research, this study tried to draw the outline of their family and construct their family experience. In the end, I provided suggestions for parents of highly gifted and the following researchers.
