Recently, companies have started to pay attention to how to encourage employees to spend more time or effort at work. In addition, employee’s mental health has turned into a critical issue. The purpose of the research was to examine the relationships among emotional exhaustion, work engagement, perceived organizational support, and job crafting. The quantitative research approach and survey-based methodology were used in the research. Online questionnaire was adopted by distributing to full-time employees in Taiwan as target sample. The results showed that emotional exhaustion and work engagement were respectively related to job crafting. However, perceived organizational support had no significant moderating effect on the relationship between emotional exhaustion and job crafting nor did it show significant moderating effect on the relationship between work engagement and job crafting in the study. The research was dedicated to understanding how employees weigh the importance of each factor at work and hopefully would help companies to provide better working environments.
