Abstract

本論文以駱以軍散文作品《小兒子》及同名舞臺劇為研究對象,其為父子間相處的故事,源於駱以軍發表的臉書文章,有別於其小說敘事綿長、意象繁複,這一系列的文章忠實地呈現家庭生活與親子互動,口吻風趣詼諧,加之網路社群快速傳播,引起廣大熱烈的迴響。《小兒子》於2014年出版後,在商業導向的市場裡取得佳績,成為駱以軍最胡鬧也最賣座的散文集。夢田文創購買《小兒子》版權並致力打造成超級IP,進攻國際市場,開啟《小兒子》跨界創作計畫,轉譯成不同形式的文本,如:動畫、繪本、橋樑書、本土教材、舞臺劇、歌曲、音樂劇等,試圖以創作說自己的故事,讓世界看見臺灣。舞台劇作品《小兒子》於2018年首演,編導黃致凱從散文作品裡各自獨立的生活事件,揀選出適合發展成故事的情節,並且重新塑造人物形象,再根據自身的生命經驗,扣合當前的社會議題,如:失智症、家庭照護、親子教養,反映真實人生,提升主題層次,改編成一齣交織歡笑與淚水的舞臺劇。為了解散文作品改編舞臺劇兩者之間的關係,本研究將駱以軍《小兒子》與黃致凱《小兒子》交叉比對,旨在分析文學作品與舞臺劇作品之間的異與同,探討改編帶來的效果。本研究於第二章回顧駱以軍與黃致凱的創作背景與創作理念,探究其生命經驗對作品的再創造;第三章比較分析散文作品與舞臺劇作品在「人物角色」、「敘事情節」與「主題思想」的異同,從人物的增刪、情節的安排、主題的闡揚,看見散文與戲劇的本質乃根源於現實。第四章探究黃致凱《小兒子》的舞臺美學,期能從場景調度、空間調度體現美感經驗,並嘗試設計戲劇教案,學生能藉由「文本對讀」探究散文作品與舞臺劇作品,親身參與「形象劇場」,履行集體創作。期盼透過本研究,得出《小兒子》的改編結果,教學設計實踐於課堂中,讓學子充分探索現代文學與舞臺劇,激起更多創新與啟發。關鍵詞:小兒子、駱以軍、黃致凱、舞臺劇
The thesis focuses on the prose work “My Little Boys” and the eponymous stage play by Luo, Yi- Chun as its research subjects. The story revolves around the relationship between a father and his son, originating from Luo, Yi- Chun's published Facebook articles. Different from his lengthy and intricately symbolic narrative style in novels, the series of articles faithfully portrays family life and parent-child interactions. The tone is witty and humorous, and coupled with the rapid dissemination through online communities, it has sparked widespread and enthusiastic responses. After its publication in 2014, “My Little Boys” achieved excellent performance in the commercially-driven market, becoming Luo, Yi- Chun's most playful and bestselling collection of prose.The cultural and creative company “Dreamland Productions”, after acquiring the rights to “My Little Boys”, embarked on a mission to transform it into a formidable IP, aiming to penetrate the international market. They initiated a cross-disciplinary creative project for “My Little Boys”, translating it into various forms of media, such as animation, illustrated books, bridge literature, local educational materials, stage plays, songs, and musicals. Their objective was to use creative endeavors to tell their own stories and showcase Taiwan to the world.The stage play adaptation of “My Little Boys” premiered in 2018, directed by Huang, Zhi-Kai. He extracted distinct life events from the prose work, selected plot elements suitable for storytelling, and redefined character images. Drawing from his own life experiences and weaving in contemporary societal issues such as dementia, family caregiving, and parent-child relationships, he depicted authentic life moments to elevate the thematic depth. The adaptation resulted in a stage play that intricately weaves together laughter and tears.To comprehend the relationship between the adaptation of prose works and stage plays, the research employs a comparative analysis of Luo, Yi-Chun's “My Little Boys” and Huang, Zhi-Kai's stage adaptation of the same. The aim is to dissect the differences and similarities between literary and theatrical creations, and to explore the effects of adaptation. In Chapter Two, the research delves into the creative backgrounds and philosophies of Luo, Yi-Chun and Huang, Zhi-Kai, probing how their life experiences contribute to the reimagining of their works. Chapter Three conducts a comparative analysis of the differences and similarities in “Character Roles”, “Narrative Plots”, and “Thematic Ideas” between the prose work and the stage adaptation. By examining alterations in characters, plot arrangements, and thematic expansions, the essence of both prose and drama emerges from reality. Chapter Four investigates the stage aesthetics of Huang, Zhi-Kai's “My Little Boys”, aiming to portray aesthetic experiences through scene and spatial arrangements. It also attempts to design drama teaching materials, allowing students to engage in “Textual Dialogue”, explore both the prose and theatrical renditions, and actively participate in the “Theater of Images”, fostering collective creativity. Through the research, the goal is to arrive at conclusions about the adaptation of “My Little Boys” and implement instructional designs in classrooms, enablingstudents to thoroughly explore modern literature and stage plays, thereby sparking more innovation and inspiration.Keywords: My Little Boys, Luo, Yi- Chun, Huang, Zhi-Kai, stage play
