Abstract: 聽力圖經常作為評估聽覺障礙學童聽能狀況的工具,然而,聽障學童的聽能表現和學習需求卻往往無法直接由聽力圖解讀。因此,客觀詮釋聽力圖上的數字與意涵,並理解存在於聽力圖之外的訊息,方能同理現實生活中的「聽覺障礙」,並適時提供協助。
The audiogram is usually used as a tool to assess the auditory status of children with hearing loss. However, the auditory performance and learning needs of these children cannot be predicted directly by the audiogram. In order to interpret the numbers and the meanings on the audiogram objectively, and to try to understand the messages that are beyond the scope of the audiogram’s capabilities, we could provide timely assistance and more appropriate auditory rehabilitation targets for hearing-impaired children.
