Making good use of jieqi (solar terms) is one of Du Fu's poems' unique characteristics mong the Tang poems. It is Huang He, a Song literati who can not be overlooked, found this characteristic on which he based the interpretation of Du Fu's poems. Unfortunately, he paid oblivious attention to the solar terms, which rendered senseless his pointing out the dates and the solar terms despite his good argument. This paper, by exemplifing six cases in six sections, each one of them attempts one or two problems of poems, in order to lay bare the meaningful use of solar to the chronicles and interpretation of Du Fu's poems.
