Abstract
研究生從音樂劇《神鬼交鋒》Catch me if you can中的男主角演繹獲得啟發後,首先研讀劇中男主角法蘭克.威廉.艾巴內爾二世(Frank William Abagnale Jr.)(以下簡稱法蘭克)的自傳Catch Me If You Can: The True Story of a Real Fake,參考角色內在演繹與外塑形象參考來塑造表演基調,再參考2002年的電影版本,由李法蘭克)奧納多.迪卡皮歐(Leonardo Wilhelm DiCaprio)飾演本角色的演繹,交叉比對電影和音樂劇的男主角表演風格。自傳中提到主角利用各種手段,改變身份行騙天下,然而電影與音樂劇版本中,直接增加了虛構的「探員」與「女主角」加強戲劇張力;藉由角色分析,探討有別於一般情愛劇情的角色關係、父母在成長過程中的造成的陰影、長年追捕的警匪關係,以及扭轉人生觀的男女關係,挑戰表演者內外的演繹。最後經由曲目分析調性、伴奏模式、節奏與音樂風格變化,搭配場景與舞蹈編排的舞台上,如何利用有限的空間轉換場景,打破第四面牆的演出概念和觀眾互動,增加男主角演繹的特點。關鍵詞:神鬼交鋒、黑色幽默、喜劇、原作改編、電影、音樂劇
After being inspired by the portrayal of the protagonist in the musical Catch Me If You Can, the graduate student began by studying the autobiography Catch Me If You Can: The True Story of a Real Fake by Frank William Abagnale Jr. (hereafter referred to as Frank). The aim was to shape the tone of the performance by analyzing both the internal psychology and external image of the character. The student then referenced the 2002 film adaptation, in which Frank is portrayed by Leonardo Wilhelm DiCaprio, to compare the protagonist’s performance style in both the movie and the musical.In the autobiography, the protagonist uses various means to assume false identities and deceive people across the world. However, both the film and the musical introduce fictional characters such as an “FBI agent” and a “female lead” to enhance the dramatic tension. Through character analysis, the study explores relationships that go beyond conventional romantic tropes, delving into the psychological shadow cast by the protagonist’s parents, the long-standing cat-and-mouse dynamic with law enforcement, and the transformative relationships with women that reshape his worldview—challenging the actor's interpretation both internally and externally. Finally, by analyzing the musical numbers in terms of tonality, accompaniment patterns, rhythm, and stylistic changes, the student examines how the stage makes use of limited space for scene transitions, incorporates choreography and scenography, breaks the fourth wall, and interacts with the audience—all of which enhance the uniqueness of the protagonist’s performance.
