Abstract

全球筆記型電腦90%是由台灣廠商代工,故筆記型電腦及零組件產業對台灣經濟扮演著舉足情重的角色。然而,筆記型電腦發展至成熟期,並邁進衰退的困境,零組件廠商面對產業的變化,如何藉由轉型維持其競爭力和企業永續發展是一重要課題。本研究以一家製造筆記型電腦連接線組件的公司做為個案,深入檢視企業如何成功地轉型。 本研究藉由SWOT分析和五力分析模型,探究個案公司所面臨的內、外競爭環境。本研究亦檢視個案公司採取「雙軌轉型」策略,分析個案公司改善零組件製造核心事業後,所能提升營運效率和財務績效。此外,本研究檢視個案公司因跨足生物辨識產業與穿戴裝置產業,對其財務績效之影響為何。藉由財務模擬,本研究指出個案公司採雙軌轉型能有效地改善營運,並提升財務績效。
Ninety percent of original equipment manufacturers or original design manufacturers for notebooks are in Taiwan. Thus, the notebook industry and components for notebook industries play an important role in the Taiwanese economy. However, the product life cycle of notebook industry has reached maturity stage and towards the decline stage. It is an important issue for firms to manufacturing notebook components to stay competitive and maintain sustainable development through transformation. This study investigates how a company transforms successfully by using a notebook component manufacturing company as a case study. This study uses SWOT analysis and Porter's five forces analysis to explore the internal and external competition environment that case company faces. This study also investigates the dual transformation strategy which the case company adopts. This study analyzes how case company improve its operating performance and financial performance after its core business of component manufacturing transforms. Moreover, this study examines the effects of the financial performance after the case company steps into the biometric industry and the wearable device industry. By financial simulation, this study indicates that the case company can effectively improve its operations and financial performance by adopting dual transformation strategy.
