雷格《巴赫主題變奏曲與賦格，作品八十一》之分析與詮釋

Abstract

馬克斯・雷格 (Max Reger, 1873-1916) 為德國浪漫主義晚期的作曲家，其音樂風格深受巴赫 (Johann Sebastian Bach, 1685-1750)、布拉姆斯 (Johannes Brahms, 1833-1897) 影響。儘管雷格的創作生涯短暫，但作品產量豐富，並以鍵盤和管弦樂作品聞名。 雷格經常藉由變奏曲式融合、轉化不同時期的音樂語彙，在管弦樂、管風琴、鋼琴、雙鋼琴等編制皆有變奏曲的創作，其中鋼琴獨奏作品《巴赫主題變奏曲與賦格》(Variations and Fugue on a Theme by Bach, Op.81, 1904) 展現雷格處理變奏曲式的自由手法。 本論文共分為六章，第一章緒論，說明研究動機與目的、研究方法與範圍；第二章以雷格的主要活動地為界，分為八節概述雷格生平；第三章為雷格音樂風格概述；第四章針對作品81的各變奏進行樂曲分析，探索此曲聲響、和聲、結構、動機等特色；第五章以速度、力度、觸鍵、踏瓣、技巧五個面向作詮釋探討；最後於第六章提出結論。筆者希望透過此篇論文，使演奏者對雷格的重要鋼琴作品有更深入的了解。

Max Reger (1873-1916) was a composer of late German romanticism. His musical style was influenced by Johann Sebastian Bach (1685-1750) and Johannes Brahms (1833-1897). Despite his short compositional career, he was productive and known for his keyboard and orchestral works. Reger has often combined and transformed the musical style of different periods through variations. He composed variations for orchestra, organ, piano, and two pianos. Among them Variations and Fugue on a Theme by Bach, Op.81, which demonstrates Reger's freedom in dealing with variations. This essay has six chapters. The first chapter introduced the research motivation, purpose, and methods; the second chapter provides an overview of Reger's life in eight sections, based on his main places of activity; the third chapter provides an overview of Reger's musical style; The fourth chapter analyzes the Op.81, exploring the sound, harmony, structure, and motive characteristics of the piece; the fifth chapter is an interpretive study of five aspects: tempo, dynamic, touch, pedal, and technique; Finally, in chapter sixth came the conclusion of this essay. The researcher hopes that this essay will give the performer a deeper understanding of Reger's important piano works.
