Abstract

高齡者參與休閒教育動機與滿意度之研究~以臺北市長青學苑為例 指導教授:楊國賜 博士 研 究 生:蔡莉芬 摘 要 本研究旨在探討高齡者參與休閒教育動機之現況及比較高齡者參與動機與滿意度因不同個人背景變項所產生之差異,並根據研究發現結果,提出建議,以作為相關機構或單位規劃老人休閒教育之參考。 本研究採取一對一問卷調查法進行研究,樣本以臺北市長青學苑參與休閒教育之高齡者為對象,並採叢集抽樣方式進行,有效樣本計200人,回收率100%,研究工具為「臺北市長青學苑高齡者參與休閒教育動機與滿意度調查問卷」。根據研究發現,歸納出結論如下: 一、臺北市長青學苑參與休閒教育之高齡者以女性、已退休、65-69歲、已婚與配偶同住在一起、教育程度為高中(職),職業以家庭管理或公務人員居多。 二、臺北市長青學苑高齡者參與休閒教育動機與滿意度現況具有中上水準表現。 三、臺北市長青學苑高齡者參與休閒教育動機整體受退休與否影響而有所差異;性別、年齡、教育程度、職業(退休前或現職)、婚姻狀況、居住地區則無明顯影響。 四、臺北市長青學苑高齡者參與休閒教育滿意度整體受年齡、教育程度及退休與否影響而有所差異;性別、職業、婚姻狀況、居住地區則無明顯影響。 五、臺北市長青學苑高齡者參與休閒教育動機越強則其滿意度越高。  本研究之建議包括高齡教育機構或單位、高齡參與者本身及後續研究三方面提出建議,臚列如下: 一、 對高齡教育機構或單位之建議 (一)區隔不同高齡者,遍及和滿足不同變項之老年人。 (二)持續推廣與提升休閒教育理念。 (三)提高男性與未退休高齡者之參與率。 (四)根據不同特性之高齡者,採取適切宣導策略,激發參與動機,提高滿意程度。 二、對高齡參與者本身之建議 (一)體悟休閒教育之重要,落實「活到老,學到老」終身學習理念,學習及早因應老年生活知識與技能。 (二)瞭解個人參與休閒教育之動機,選擇適合課程,滿足個人需求,增強滿意程度。 三、對後續研究之建議 (一)研究範圍:宜增加探討不同縣市區域之情形。 (二)研究方法:輔以訪談、觀察高齡者及教學者等質性研究方式,深入探討高齡者參與休閒教育動機與滿意度之關係。 (三)研究變項:增加收入水準、健康狀況、與子女同住、社經地位、家庭背景、個性…等個人背景變項,使探討更加完備。 (四)相關主題:建議後續研究者可就高齡者參與休閒教育之阻礙、參與決策過程等相關主題進行研究。 關鍵字:高齡者、休閒教育、動機、滿意度
The Research of the Motives and Satisfaction of the Advanced Age People (Elder)Participating in the Leisure Education - Take Taipei Evergreen Learning Center as an Example By Tsai Li-Fen Abstract The purposes of this research lie in probing into the present situation of the advanced age people participating in the leisure education and comparing their motives and satisfaction of the differentiates of participating in because of the different variables of their backgrounds. According to the research to find the results and propose the suggestions for the reference of the relevant organizations or the units that plan to the leisure education for the advanced age people. The research adopts questionnaire investigation and carries on by one to one. The samples of the population are the advanced age people participating in the leisure education in Taipei Evergreen Learning Center. The research also adopts the method of cluster sampling. The effective questionnaire is 200, 100% rate of recovery .The tool of the research is” the questionnaire of the motives and satisfaction of the advanced age people participating in the leisure education in Taipei Evergreen Learning Center”. Summing up the conclusion based on the findings of the research, and proposing the suggestions as follows: I. The member of the advanced age people participating in the leisure education in Taipei Evergreen Learning Center mainly comes from the groups of the women, who were already retired , whose age is between 65-69 years old , who are married and live together with their spouses , whose education level were high schools (or vocational schools), whose job mostly belongs to the family management or the officials of the government. II. The present situation of the motives and satisfaction of the advanced age people participating in the leisure education in Taipei Evergreen Learning Center, their achievement standard is above the average. III. As a whole, the motives of the advanced age people participating in the leisure education in Taipei Evergreen Learning Center are different to some extent and influenced by whether they were retired. There are no apparent influences among their sex, age, education degree, job (before their retirement or at their present post), marital status, and their residence. VI. As a whole, the satisfaction of the advanced age people partici- pating in the leisure education in Taipei Evergreen Learning Center are different to some extent and influenced by their age , education degree and whether they were retired. There are no apparent influences among their sex, job , marital status, and their residence. V. The stronger motives of the advanced age people participating in the leisure education in Taipei Evergreen Learning Center, the higher satisfaction it is. The suggestions of the research including those of the relevant organizations or the units, the advanced age people themselves, and the future researchers that plan to the leisure education for the advanced age people, and put forward the suggestion from three respects as follows: I. The suggestions to the relevant educational organizations or the units 1.Separate different the advanced age people, spread all over and satisfy the aged of different variables. 2.Popularize continuously and promote the ideas of the leisure education. 3.Promote the participation rate of the male and the advanced age people who are not retired. 4.According to the different characteristics of the advanced age people , adopt the appropriate declaring strategies, excite the motives of participation, and promote the satisfaction. II. The suggestions to the participants of the advanced age people 1.Realize the importance of the leisure education, implement the idea of lifelong learning of “keeping on learning as long as you live ”, study early because of in conformity with the know- ledge of life and technical ability of the aged . 2.Understand the motive of the individual who participates in lei- sure education , choose the suitable courses , meet the need of the individual, and strengthen the satisfaction. III. The suggestions to the the future researchers 1.Research range The reach should increase the situations of probing into differ- rent counties, cities and districts. 2.Research approach Complement by interviews and qualitative study to observe the advanced age people and the teachers, and probes into the relation deeply between the motives and the satisfaction of the advanced age people who participate in leisure education. 3.The variables of the research Increase the variables of the individual backgrounds of the income level , health status , living with children , the society position, the family background and personality to complete the research more perfect. 4.Relevant theme Propose the future researchers to study more about the hin- drance of the advanced age people when they participate in leisure education, and in the process of decision-making while carrying on the research.
