| zh_TW |
| dc.description.abstract | The forms of expression and style of Paul Klee, the German abstract artist, has been the subject of numerous studies. With powerful creativity and vitality, he left more than 8000 fabulous works, which include pen drawings, watercolors, oil paintings and works in mixed-materials. People marvel at his ever-changing artistic creativity, which transcends the confinement of the materials and evoke much admiration and respect from his audience. I am deeply influenced by Klee’s work. I will use “Paul Klee’s image symbols” as the subject of my study to take a glimpse of the elegant creativity of the maestro and his ingenious stroke of originality. In this study, I will investigate and analyze various works by Klee. I am also going to use illustrative forms of expression to examine Klee’s image techniques. Klee's image techniques and by dissecting the hand-painted illustrations formulate my own creative inspirations. I will give a detailed explanation of the creative ideas, the basis of expression, expression techniques and the creative process of my work. My work discussed in this study includes a series of six drawings with metaphor, symbolism, mysticism and imagination as the main motif : 1. Melancholia, 2. Moment, 3. Nirvana, 4. Temporality, 5. Misgiving, 6. Develop。 This study is divided into five chapters as follows: 1、Chapter one: Explaining the background, intention and goal of the study. Draft the research structure and processes according to the research method, and within the limitations of the research scope. 2、Chapter two: Investigate the meaning, history, forms of expression and techniques of illustration. Analyze the characteristics, use of image symbols and Klee’s forms of expressing illustrations. 3、Chapter three: Using illustrative drawings as examples to study and analyze the media, techniques, forms of expression and the applications of illustration. 4、Chapter four: Present the ideas, basis and characteristics of my work, and explain the design process in detail. 5、Chapter five: Conclusion. Use what I learned from the study of the creativity and applicability of the imagery of Klee’s work. I will bring out the epochal creative meaning of hand-drawn illustration and the direction for further research. I will analyze the essence of Klee’s work with honesty and humbleness, and then use it as a model for my future work. In presenting the findings of this study, I would like to solicit comments from artists and designers. | en_US |
