Abstract

在2003林茲電子藝術節中,提出「程式碼等於法律」、「程式碼等於生活」、「程式碼等於藝術」的新世代預言;然而,藝術是不是真的可以用程式去寫?軟體的本身也是藝術?在藉由程式碼產生的組合畫面中擷取影像的過程中,利用「隨機」來打破數字秩序,從解構的創作過程中重新思考人的原始本能探索最大可能性,再現視覺創作的原始力量與直接性。今日透過「編碼」而成的程式語言,運用數位科技互動與運算能力,所發展出的表現形式已可將過去所不能實現的創作觀念實現,而未來的視覺設計必定是結合許多跨領域的層級。因此藉由何種教育方式將目前數位學習的課程內容,能由此發展到能與其他領域結合,將是未來設計教育發展的重要議題。本研究將以碎形所內含數理觀念及思維論述,推演至程式演算藝術並進行視覺創作實驗,藉此新的思維重新思索過去傳統的歐氏幾何的設計教育觀念。
It was proposed in Arts Electronic Festival in Linz, Austria 2003, that Formula Code is the law, is comparable to our life and is like an art. But can we create an artwork by writing a program or is the software itself a form of art. In the process of combining the pictures and images made by codes, the order of all digits can be changed randomly. We can rethink about the most possibility of finding out our instincts during the destructuralization procedure, and produce the impact and originality of our works again. Today, via manufacturing formula codes and by applying interactive digital technology and computing, the advanced performance has made things come true that were thought impossible before, the future visual design must be a combination of inter-media materials. So how to link up the digital learning and other area courses is one of the most important issues in the development of arts education. This thesis is a study of the evolvement of mathematical formula art using mathematical logic of fractal theory, and the experiment of visual creations. By this new thinking, we may try to find out a new opportunity to reconsider about the traditional concept of design education--- Euclidean Geometry.
