Abstract
馬悌努是二十世紀重要的現代音樂作曲家之一。在他長達近二十年的巴黎居住期間 (1923–1940),他將爵士音樂元素融入自己的創作中。馬悌努對爵士音樂的運用深受法國六人組、史特拉文斯基及美國現代舞的啟發,這些影響促使他將爵士元素與新古典主義元素相結合,特別是在節奏創新方面尤為顯著。本研究旨在深入探討馬悌努《爵士組曲》的創作特色,分析爵士與古典語彙在其音樂中的交融方式,並將這些創作手法運用於筆者的創作——《爵士組曲》之中。
Bohuslav Martinů was one of the most prolific composers in the 20th-century to incorporate jazz elements into his compositions during his extended Parisian sojourn (1923-1940). His integration of jazz-inspired elements stems from his admiration for the works of Les Six, Stravinsky, and American modern dances, which fuelled his creativity in blending jazz elements with neo-classical elements, particularly in the use of rhythmic innovation. This study aims to explore the compositional brilliance of Martinů's Jazz Suite, analyzing how jazz and classical idioms are interwoven into his music, and applying these techniques to the author's own composition—The "Normal" Jazz Suite.
