面板產業購併之敘事研究

Abstract
本研究旨在探討面板產業鏈內企業對於購併方式所帶來的改變，並以產業鏈內敘事者角色進行資料彙整與分析，配合資料及專家訪談來呈現面板產業對於購併方式之相關敘述研究。透過文獻分析而瞭解產能的增加、議價能力彈性及市場佔有率的提升等將為影響產業購併的因素。此外；經由文獻探討為研究架構之基礎，採用質性研究方法並蒐集相關研究資料，藉由出同質性專家訪談的問題後再進行異質性專家訪談以瞭解近年來面板產業購併前後的影響問題。歸納獲得主要結論如下：
一、企業購併原因：分為產業鏈整合程度、企業營運規模及獲利情形、產品尺寸多元化。
二、企業購併優勢：分為供給優勢與企業規模與產能。
三、企業購併成效：首要成效及企業購併與關鍵零組件取得成效。
最後根據研究結論對面板產業鏈內供給廠商與後續研究者提出具體之建議分為以下二點：1.面板尺寸的主導地位 2.二線面板廠商於現行規模下的購併成長3.最適當的購併方式；液晶面板廠商對於企業成長過程中所需考量的因素有不同的層面，而透過購併的方式所帶來的效益乃為最直接與快速的其中一種方式。
This study aims to discuss the change which was brought about by the merger inside the industry chain of the TFT-LCD, and by means of the narrative role to go on the narrative study, along with the data and the interview of the experts to represent the related narrative study of the TFT-LCD industry merger. Through the documentation analysis to understand the increase of the productivity, the flexibilityof the bargain ability and the enhancement of the market share which all will influence the reasons of the industry merger. Besides, the study structure which is based on the documentation analysis adopts qualitative study and collects related research data, and by way of the interview of the homogeneous experts and then proceeding the interview of the heterogeneous experts to comprehend the problems before and after the merger of the TFT-LCD industry. 1. The reasons of the industry merger: the integration of the industry chain、 the scale of the industry operation, the profit situation and the diversity of the product size. 2. The advantages of the industry merger: the supply advantage and the industry scale and productivity. 3. The effect of the industry merger: the primary effect and the effect of the obtainment of the key components. Finally, according to the research conclusion which offers concrete suggestions to the suppliers inside the TFT-LCD industry chain and the future researchers: 1. the dominance of the panel size 2.the merger growth of the second-tier panel manufacturers under current scale 3.the most appropriate merger mode; the TFT-LCD manufacturers need to consider the factors of different levels during the process of the industry growth, and through the mode of merger which becomes one of the most direct and the rapidest ways to bring the benefits.
