臺北市某高職學生口腔保健行為及其相關因素之研究

Abstract

本研究旨在探討臺北市高職學生口腔保健行為及其相關因素之關係。以一百學年度 第二學期在學之臺北市高級職業學校日間部一至級學生為母群體。以橫斷式調查研究法,採分層集束隨機抽樣,以「班級」為單位,抽取有效問卷542份。本研究重要發現如下: 一、 甜食攝取狀況部分,女性攝取程度較男性頻繁;學業成績中間三分之一之研究對象甜食攝取狀況較後面三分之一頻繁;家庭社經地位低者比家庭社經地位中者及高者有較頻繁之甜食攝取狀況;研究對象甜食攝取狀況越頻繁,過去於國中時期所參與的口腔保健相關課程與活動經驗會越正向。 二、 參與口腔保健相關課程與活動經驗部分,國中時期部分,過去於國中時期所參與的口腔保健相關課程與活動經驗越多,於高職階段之參與經驗也會越正向;研究對象過去於國中時期所參與的口腔保健相關課程與活動經驗越多,口腔保健行為會越正向。高職時期部分,三年級累積的參與經驗較二年級及一年級高。 三、 口腔保健行為部分,研究對象每日刷牙時間以晚上睡覺前最高,其次是早上起床後未進食前;牙線的使用狀況並不理想;使用貝氏刷牙法的比率為中間偏低;含氟漱口水的使用率很低;而含氟牙膏的使用上較高;定期口腔檢查習慣為介於中間值。研究對象的父親年齡為41-50歲者較50歲以上者,其孩子的口腔保健行為較好。 四、 研究對象之社會人口學變項及甜食攝取狀況與參與口腔保健相關課程與活動經驗可解釋口腔保健行為之總變異量的9.0%,調整後為6.6%。研究發現,研究對象為一年級者其口腔保健行為較二年級來得正向;父親年齡41-50歲者其小孩之口腔保健行為較父親年齡為51歲以上者來得正向;於國中以及高職時期所參與的口腔保健相關課程與活動經驗越多,其口腔保健行為也會越正向。
The purpose of this study was to explore oral health behavior and its related factors among the vocational high school students in Taipei City. A structured questionnaire was designed to collect the data from the vocational high school students in 2012. Totally, there were 542samples. The major findings are as follows: 1. In the aspect of sweets intake status: Female students had higher frequency of sweets intake than their counterparts. The second grede students had more frequency of sweets intake than third grade students. The students from lower family SES had higher frequency of sweets intake than the students from higher family SES. The higher frequency of sweets intake, the more positive the experience in the past of participation of oral health-related curriculum and activities. 2. In the aspect of experience of participation of oral health-related curriculum and activities : The students who exposed themselves to the experience of participation of oral health-related curriculum and activities in junior high schools were more likely to pursue this field of study as they progressed to vocational high school. The more the experience of participation of oral health-related curriculum and activities in the past, the more oral health behavior positive. The 12th grade students are more keen to select oral health-related curriculum and activities than the 10th and 11th grade students. 3. In the aspect of oral health behavior: The highest frequency of tooth brushing occurred prior to bed-time follow by the second occurred in the morning after waking up but not before eating. The useage of dental floss is very limited. The useage of brushing method of Bayesian was lower than 50%. The usage of fluoride mouthwashwas very low while the useage of fluoride toothpaste was higher; Regular oral examination habits is near 50%. The students whose father was between 41-50 years of age were more likely to have proper oral health behavior than the students whose father was older than 51 years of age. 4. The demographic variables, sweets intake status, and the experience of participation of oral health-related curriculum and activities of the subjects could explain 9.0% of total variance, adjusted to 6.6%. It was found that the 10th graders’ oral health behavior was better than the 11th graders. The students whose father was between 41-50 years of age were more likely to have proper oral health behavior than the students whose father was older than 51 years of age. The more the experience of participation of oral health-related curriculum and activities in the past, the more positive the oral health behavior .
