dc.description.abstract     The purpose of this article was, first, to introduce the history and status of the sommunity colleges in American, including the different students' status, curriculum designing, teachers' qualification, funds and resources, and the managing strategy. Second, to realize the background and planning orientation of the community colleges in Taiwan. Third, to porvide the idea of transformational leadership style for playing the roles of leadership in the community colleges.en_US
