北北基地區高中生媒體使用行為與媒體識讀能力之研究

Abstract

本研究旨在了解北北基地區高中生媒體使用行為與媒體識讀能力之現況,以及探討不同背景變項和媒體使用行為與媒體識讀能力間的差異情形及關聯性。本研究以一一三學年上學期註冊之北北基地區高中生為研究母體,本研究採調查研究法,先透過分層比例抽樣,在進行叢集抽樣與便利抽樣選取施測對象,共取得500份有效研究樣本。本研究使用SPSS 23.0進行敘述統計、獨立樣本t檢定、單因子變異數分析(ANOVA)、皮爾森積差相關等統計方法以解答研究問題。研究結果摘要如下:一、北北基地區高中生最常使用媒體為互動式媒體;新聞獲取主要來源為網路媒體;平均每日使用媒體時間在3小時至4個半小時之間;娛樂為使用媒體的主要目的。二、北北基地區高中生媒體識讀能力屬於中度積極。三、女高中生的媒體識讀能力優於男高中生;新北市高中生在「媒體訊息解析」構面上的表現優於台北市學生;高三生的媒體識讀能力優於高一生。四、不同家庭社經地位、家長管教態度、媒體常用類型、新聞獲取主要來源、平均每日使用媒體時間對於高中生的媒體識讀能力無差異。五、不同媒體使用目的高中生的媒體識讀能力部分具有差異性。六、「認識媒體」方面表現愈佳,「訊息解析」與「媒體近用」愈好;「訊息解析」方面表現愈佳,「媒體近用」愈好;在「認識媒體」、「訊息解析」、「媒體近用」任一方面表現愈佳,媒體識讀能力愈好。根據本研究結果,對政府、教師、家長及未來研究者提出具體建議。
The purpose of this study is to investigate the current media using behavior and media literacy ability of high school students in the Taipei Metropolitan Area,and to explore the connection between the backgrounds gap and media using behavior of students and media literacy.This study applied on students who enrolled in the first semester of the 113th academic year in the Taipei Metropolitan Area.Media using a survey research method with stratified purposive sampling,cluster sampling and convenience sampling,500 valid samples were obtained.SPSS 23.0 was used for descriptive statistics,independent sample t-tests, one-way ANOVA, and Pearson’s correlation were employed to address the research questions.The major findings of this study were described as follows:1.The popular medium used by high schools in Taipei Metropolitan Area is interactive media; the primary source of news is online media;the average time spent on media per day ranges from three to four and a half hours; and entertainment is the main purpose of media use.2.The media literacyof high schools in Taipei Metropolitan Area is moderately active.3.Female high school students have better media literacy than male senior high school students.Senior high school students in New Taipei City have better media messages analysis ability than those in Taipei.High school senior outperformed high school freshmen on media literacy.4.There are no differences in media literacy among high school students by family socioeconomic status,parental discipline,media usage type, primary source of news,and daily usage time.5. There are some differences in the media literacy of high school students by purpose of media use.6.The better the performance in media literacy,the better the performance in message parsing and media access;the better the performance in message parsing, the better the performance in media access;the better performance in any of recognition of the media, message parsing and media accessing is,the better performance in media literacy is.Based on the results of this research,recommendations are made to the government,teachers, parents, and future researchers.
