Abstract
This study primarily investigates the impact of training strategies for participants in the" Information Network Cabling" national skills competition on their reflective abilities. The research methodology is predominantly qualitative, supplemented with quantitative aspects, combining semi-structured interviews and questionnaire surveys. The study involves Information Network Cabling instructors and trained participants as subjects. The researcher employs interviews to understand the features and training strategies of competition training courses, uses a "Reflective Ability" Questionnaire, and conducts interviews to analyze the level and variations in participants' reflective abilities. The study yields the following results: 1.Instructor training strategies vary with the goal of skill competitions, and the effectiveness of training differs among different methods. 2.Based on participant feedback and instructor observations, guided training strategies are found to be more effective during the operational phase, while self-exploration training is more effective during the testing and practice phases. 3.In the " Information Network Cabling" participants'reflective abilities are particularly prominent in the dimensions of"Understanding" and "Reflection" while being weaker in the dimensions of "Habitual Actions" and "Critical Reflection." 4.Significant differences exist in reflective ability levels between different genders. 5.Reflective ability levels vary among different disciplines, with Information Science participants scoring higher in the dimensions of "Habitual Actions" "Understanding" and "Reflection" compared to other disciplines, while Electronic Science participants score higher in the dimension of "Critical Reflection." Based on these research findings, recommendations for training and learning are provided to instructors and participants in the " Information Network Cabling" to enhance the effectiveness of technical training in this field.
