南投縣工藝文化產業發展之研究

Abstract

本論文採文獻分析、深度訪談、問卷調查等研究方法，擷取南投縣自1954至2004年，工藝發展五十年歷史。以「南投縣工藝研習班」之創設為研究起點，「國立台灣工藝研究所」歷次改制及變更名稱之時間為分界點，共區分為四個橫向階段，探討南投縣工藝發展的歷程，並分別以工藝歷史、工藝教育、工藝產業、工藝研究所等四個面向做縱向析論。 首先回顧工藝文化產業的相關理論；包括文化發展理論、地方工藝文化產業，並進一步探討文化產業與地方發展的關係，說明全球化與多元文化對工藝文化產業發展的影響。 田野調查分為深度訪談與問卷調查，個別訪談部分屬質化性質之研究，訪問具各類工藝專長領域之工藝家及學者專家，問卷調查結果則補強研究之內涵與深度。 本論文藉由深度訪談與問卷調查的內容，分析南投縣工藝文化產業的現況與發展，同時凸顯南投縣工藝文化產業近半世紀以來的發展成果，希望喚起大眾對工藝文化的重視，並將研究結果加以綜合，提出研究發現報告與後續的研究方向與建議。This thesis uses the methods of a questionnaire survey, records and documents to discuss in depth and analyze the development of artisan made products in Nan Tou County from 1954 to 2004. Taking ‘a study in artisan made products’ as our starting point we also must discuss the fact that National Taiwan Craft Research Institute has changed the system and uses name plus time as it’s boundaries of definition dividing the subject into four sections : artisan history, artisan education, artisan industry and a general research of every aspect of the subject. First we will look back at artisan culture and industry plus discuss other related topics including: cultural development, artisan culture and industry by location therefore going one step further into the subject by examining the relationship between industry and place. We will also be looking at the influence of globalization on the artisan industry. The field survey is divided into two parts; the first is an interview and the second a questionnaire. Each interview has it’s own merits, people from every level of the industry were interviewed from foremen to students with the desired outcome being to strengthen the contents and depth of the research. This thesis thanks to its questionnaire and interview techniques has been able to investigate and analyze Nan Tou’s artisan industry’s present day situation and development. At the same showing the results of the last half century on Nan Tou’s artisan development. Hopefully this will cause people to place more importance on artisan culture and also thorough study on the subject.
