Abstract

本文旨在探究南宋理學家陸象山教育成人的方式,並與今日成人教育作比較,以尋求有關的啟示。 本研究分為七個章節,分別敘述如下: 第一章,緒論,本章說明研究背景,並評述相關研究成果。 第二章,時代背景,本章敘述南宋初年的政局與社會、學術文化、教育概況與陸象山的生平事略。 第三章,敘述象山哲學的基本理念,包括心性論、本體論、實踐論,以及象山哲學的主張對成人教育的啟示。 第四章,論學習,本章主要在分析象山對於學習的見解,包含為學目的、為學原則、讀書之道、學者之病與改進、師友關係,以及象山學習的主張對成人教育的啟示。 第五章,論教學,本章探究象山對於教學方面的實踐與主張,包含教學的目的方法與態度、講學的主張與內容、象山教學的具體表現,以及象山教學實踐與主張對成人教育的啟示 第六章,象山教學與今日成人教育理論的比較,本文將探討象山教學與對話式教學、轉化學習、自我導向學習等三種成人教育理論之間的異同。 第七章,結論與建議,本章將研究根據研究結果,提出象山之教對於今日成人教育的建議。
The main purpose of this study is to inquire teaching method for adults developed by Master Lu Shiang-shan, the philosopher in South Sung China. By comparing his teaching method with contemporary adult education, it hopes to provide some suggestions about adult education history. This study is divided into seven chapters as followings: Chapter One: Introduction. In this chapter, it will explain the background of the study and review literature. Chapter Two: The Background of the Era. It describes the political, social, academic, cultural, educational background and the life of Lu Shiang-shan. Chapter Three: Basic philosophic ideas. It describes the basic concepts of Shiang-shan’s philosophy, including the nature of the human mind, ontology, the method about moral practice and its implications on adult education. Chapter Four: On Learning. It discusses Shiang-shan’s ideas about learning, including the purpose and principle of learning, the way of study, the problems and improvement of being a scholar, the relationship between teachers and students, and its implications on adult education. Chapter Five: On Teaching Method. It inquires Shiang-shan’s practice and opinions about instruction, including the method and attitude toward teaching objectives, the claim and content of his lectures, the specific representation of Shiang-shan’s teaching, and its significance to adult education. Chapter Six: The Comparison between Shiang-shan’s Teaching Method and the Contemporary Theory of Adult Education. It discusses the similarities and differences between Shiang-shan’s teaching method and the other three theories of adult education--- dialogue education, transformative learning and self-directed learning. Chapter Seven: Conclusion. According to the findings, it makes the suggestions to contemporary adult education.
