Abstract

ABSTRACT In order to better understand entrepreneurial intention of Technical College and University students, a study of such theoretical model on intention of entrepreneurial behavior was constructed by researcher using literature review, students’ opinions in open-ended questionnaire and successful enterprisers’ comments in verbally describing entrepreneurial history. The goodness-of-fit of the theoretical model on intention of entrepreneurial behavior was examined in student questionnaires as a research tool. This LISREL model (stratified random sampling) was used to process the questionnaire results and to analyze their statistical reliability. The study population consisted of a random sample of Technical Colleges and University students. Based on their respective major studies and stratified random sampling, the researcher has received back 988 copies of valid questionnaires. In addition to the linear structural relation LISREL, the statistic methods used include: MANOVA, Hotelling T2 etc. The results using inductive methods are summarized as follows: 1. Other than the constructed “Theoretical model on Intention of Entrepreneurial Behavior of Technical Colleges and University students, there are proper fits for the measurements of GFI=0.803; RMSEA=0.0786; RMR=0.0610; NFI=0.842; CFI=0.861 as far as quality is concerned, As for the reliability of the of the quality criteria, the estimated calculated values are in acceptable reliability ranges. Therefore, these statistical values can be used to reliably explain and measure entrepreneurial intention of entrepreneurial behavior of Students in Technical Colleges and Universities. 2. There are obvious differences of agreement on the different sexes (men and women students), the different majors (industrial, business, agriculture, home economics, oceanography, medicine& nursing), the different attends program (a day, evening, and continuing education program, the different family backgrounds (business or non-business) toward the layers of construction and the factors of construction. 3. Finally, based on the research findings and conclusions, substantial recommendations were made, and a list of further reading was provided, to student, school, and the authorities for related administration.
