臺灣黑熊應用可愛元素於浮雕巧克力之創作研究

Abstract

目前市面上以臺灣為主題的伴手禮，大多聚焦在各自品牌的認知或以臺灣地理造型的糕餅為主。缺乏代表臺灣意象與味覺兼具的伴手禮。尤其當全球各國在機場免稅店紛紛推出具當地代表的巧克力伴手禮時，反觀臺灣在機場所推出的巧克力伴手禮，仍只著重在包裝的圖案設計上，巧克力的造型仍以傳統常見的幾何形為主，缺少獨特性與在地性。因此，本研究以臺灣黑熊為主題，選用巧克力為創作表現媒材，並運用浮雕的設計美學，創作出臺灣黑熊造型的巧克力伴手禮。透過KJ歸島法分析出九種不同可愛形式風格的造型熊，其中包含可愛意象、設計元素和造型特徵。研究發現影響熊的可愛元素有：1.在造型比例上，頭身比越趨近1:1越可愛，且幼年熊的型態比成年熊來得親近友善和可愛，坐姿比站姿較為討喜；2.在臉部表情方面，造型較為扁平，五官位置接近且較低、側面臉部比較圓扁，整體造型較圓潤；3.在絨毛材質方面，整體皮毛蓬鬆較軟萌，會顯得較親近可愛：4.在服飾及配件上，衣服能修飾身型，呈現更福態可愛；配件則具有更別緻的視覺效果，每種設計都有其獨特的可愛元素，這些元素結合起來形成了可愛熊的獨特風格。本研究的可愛造型元素風格分析旨在深入探討可愛熊產品的可愛意象、設計元素和造型特徵，以臺灣黑熊為巧克力浮雕模具的創作題材搭配臺灣特色茶，設計成果可做為日後食物設計、模具開發等相關產品的設計和開發參考，並藉由巧克力成為行銷臺灣、標誌地區的媒介，讓世界看見寶島之美。Currently, most of the souvenirs on the market with a Taiwanese theme focus on promoting their respective brands or featuring cakes and pastries shaped like Taiwan's geography. There is a lack of souvenirs that represent both the imagery and taste of Taiwan. Especially when airports around the world are introducing chocolate souvenirs that represent their respective regions, Taiwan's chocolate souvenirs only emphasize the packaging design, while the chocolate shapes remain primarily geometric and traditional, lacking uniqueness and local character. Therefore, this study used the Formosan Black Bear as the theme and chocolate as the creative medium to create adorable chocolate souvenirs in the shape of Formosan Black Bear. Through the KJ island method, nine different adorable bear styles were analyzed, including cute images, design elements, and stylistic features. The study found that the elements affecting the adorableness of the bears include: 1. In terms of proportion, the closer the head-to-body ratio is to 1:1, the cuter it is. Young bears are more friendly and adorable than adult bears, and a sitting posture is more pleasing than a standing posture. 2. In terms of facial expressions, a flatter shape, with facial features positioned low and close together, and a round and flat side face, contribute to an overall round and adorable appearance. 3. In terms of fur texture, fluffy and soft fur appears more friendly and adorable. 4. In terms of clothing and accessories, clothing can modify body shape to present a more adorable appearance, while accessories create a more exquisite visual effect. Each design has its unique adorable elements, and these elements combine to form the unique style of adorable Taiwanese bears.The aim of this study's analysis of adorable design elements is to deeply investigate the adorable imagery, design elements, and stylistic features of adorable bear products, and through the medium of chocolate as a means of marketing Taiwan and representing the region, to let the world see the beauty of the treasure island. Therefore, using the Taiwan black bear as the subject for the chocolate relief mold design, the resulting design can serve as a reference for future food design, mold development, and other related product design and development, showcasing the adorable and unique style of the Formosan Black Bear.
