Abstract

本文研究瑞士作曲家賈雷爾(Michael Jarrell, 1958- )兩首作品,馬林巴琴獨奏曲《借用》(Entlehnungen, 2019)與擊樂獨奏曲《類韻VII》(Assonance VII, 1992)。兩首樂曲皆為當代擊樂重要作品,透過分析樂曲與演奏詮釋的角度,探討當代擊樂語法。全文共分七章論述:第一章前言說明主題的研究動機、目的、方法、範圍及相關文獻資料;第二章講述賈雷爾生平與音樂風格,了解其音樂理念。第三章為《類韻VII》樂曲分析,概述創作背景,探討樂器編制、記譜法、架構與創作手法;第四章為《類韻VII》演奏詮釋,解說各段落音樂語彙,並整理樂譜指示文字;第五章為《借用》樂曲分析,概述馬林巴琴曲目歷史源流和樂曲創作背景,探討樂曲記譜法、架構與創作手法。第六章為《借用》演奏詮釋,分段解說各段落音樂語彙;第七章為結語,為此次研究過程進行總結。
This paper is based on two works by Swiss composer Michael Jarrell (b. 1958). The percussion solo piece Assonance VII (1992) and the marimba solo piece Entlehnungen (2019). Both pieces are important contemporary percussion repertoires, and through analyzing the music and performance interpretation, this paper explores contemporary percussion language.The discussion is divided into seven chapters: Chapter 1 introduces the research topic, motivation, purpose, method, scope, and reference of the research. Chapter 2 discusses Jarrell's life and musical style to understand his musical philosophy. Chapter 3 analyzes the music of Assonance VII, outlining the creative background and exploring the instrumentation, music notation, structure, and composition techniques. Chapter 4 presents the performance interpretation of Assonance VII, explaining the music in each paragraph and organizing the sheet music instructions. Chapter 5 analyzes the music of Entlehnungen, outlining the historical origins of the marimba repertoire and thecreative background of Entlehnungen, and exploring the music notation, structure, and composition techniques. Chapter 6 presents the performance interpretation of Entlehnungen, providing detailed explanations of music in each paragraph. Chapter 7 concludes the research process.
