以風獅爺造型運用於兒童繪本之創作研究

Abstract
風獅爺已成為今日金門的象徵之一,亦是金門特有的人文景觀與無價之文化資產。本創作研究的繪本主題為「風獅爺降風怪」,以蒐集的文獻資料為基礎,再以創作加以延伸發想的內容,嘗試詮釋歷史中金門對風獅爺的需求與意義的變化。因此本創作研究帶有懷舊的意涵,同時重視地方風俗與源流,讓文化傳承能延續更具有新的生命力。而繪圖上以較為誇張的擬人化與漫畫式的插畫呈現,繪本內文中以闡釋金門與風獅爺的歷史傳說由來。本創作研究的緒論為闡述創作研究背景與動機、創作研究範圍與限制,希望將金門風獅爺以兼具傳統及可愛鮮明的樣貌呈現在插畫繪本中。文獻部分著重在辟邪物、擬人化與風獅爺的學理依據,分析有關風獅爺的歷史背景與其辟邪物的實質定位。相關案例的部分針對風獅爺造型、擬人化的獅子與繪本中的表現手法進行分析。創作實踐為風獅爺造型與運用於《風獅爺降風怪》繪本創作歷程。結論針對本創作研究感想與心得,並作為未來延伸創作的發展與建議。本創作研究之具體貢獻與特點為在創作過程中,以擬人化的元素貫穿整個創作,從中串連出風獅爺與這塊土地人、事、物間的互動及精彩的故事,讓風獅爺能有一番新氣象,並創作一系列的相關創作與後續文創商品的開發。
Wind-lion Gods, mascot of Kinmen, are stone statues strewn across the island and have become the cultural properties of the place. They are also the subject of this study, which includes the creation of a picture book—Wind-lion Gods, the Wind Monster Chasers. Through the research, the author intended to trace the origin of these unique stone figures. And the picture book was another end result of extensive research plus the author/illustrator’s creativity and imagination. The characters in the illustration were given slightly exaggerated human forms and the pictures were presented in comic style. In the chapter of Introduction, the author described the research background and motivation, the scope and limitations. In the literature review, previous researches and theories on guardian statues, personification and wind-lion gods were discussed respectively. The part of illustration analysis was focused on wind-lion gods, personified lions and of course, the picture book itself. How the characters were designed and how the storyline was developed were described in the chapter of Creative Practice. In the last chapter, the author ended this study with some personal thoughts which could also serve as the suggestions for further research. It is the author’s hope that this study along with the picture book can put this cultural artifact special to Kinmen in the spotlight again and can inspire more artistic creations and cultural products. It’s the duty of an artist to keep reminding people, especially our next generation, of the beautiful cultural heritage in the country.
