行形攝色—影像拼貼設計之創作研究

Abstract
「攝影是發現美,設計是創造美」的視覺活動,影像是攝影的機械形成,在平面 設計擔任素材提供的角色,「讀圖時代」的到來,使得兩者互動更加緊密。影像 設計中常運用的「拼貼」在各大藝術領域中被廣泛應用,因自由、創新的概念正 是當代影像的發展關鍵。拼貼的基因特徵是將各類元素、形式、觀念等進行解構 重組,從抽象到具象,從重複到重構,使影像能創造更多的視覺體驗。透過文獻 分析法與個案分析法,彙整當代影像拼貼之成果及相關論述,以三大面向進行分 析探討:(1)當代影像發展脈絡(2)影像設計手法表現分析(3)拼貼手法相 關研究,從而構思影像拼貼之創作形式。創作方法則以希臘思想家亞里斯多德所 提出之「四因說」為依據,引申其意義並構建「行形攝色—影像創作系統」,目 的為整理出系統化的流程與觀點,拓展創作内容與表現。運用「拼貼」手法對影 像元素進行解構、重組、合成等設計構成,進行影像再造。經文獻分析整理、聚 焦和收斂過程,並邀請學者、專家小組協助分類定義,總結影像拼貼的十種設計 表現 : 「解構重組、幾何分割、複像構成、影像重疊、肌理質感、抽象模糊、破 壞切割、圖形再造、人物情緒、異質共構」。經具體研究可發現,攝影是影像拼 貼設計的基石,而拼貼是影像設計的重要表現,兩者相輔相成才能將影像拼貼處 理得細緻與完整。另外在創作研究的加值上,運用「行形攝色」四個表現形式, 能實驗出多樣的影像拼貼可能性,創作以「城市意象」為表現主題,並以此作為 研究成果之驗證,從而拓展在「讀圖時代」中,影像設計創作的新視界。
That "photography is the discovery of beauty, design is the creation of beauty" is visual activity, image is the physical formation of photography, which plays the role of materials provider when designing, and the arrival of the "image reading era" makes the interaction between both much closer. Collage, which is widely used in artistic creation since the concept of freedom and innovation is the key to the development of contemporary. The characteristic of collage is to deconstruct and reorganize various elements, forms and concepts, from abstract to concrete, and from repetition to reconstruction, which makes the visual experience more colorful and creative. By reviewing literatures and case studies, the results of contemporary image collage and related discussions are compiled and analyzed in three major aspects, (1) the development of contemporary images, (2) the analysis of the performance of image design, and (3) the study of collage techniques, in order to conceive the creative form of image collage. The method of creation is based on the"four causes" proposed by the Greek thinker, Aristotle, which could be extended to construct "Creativity, Form, Image, Design — Image Creation System", with the purpose of organizing a systematic process and viewpoint, and to expand the expression of creation. Though the collage method, deconstruct and organize the elements of structures, and then recreate the image. After reviewing, organizing, and analyzing the related literatures, expert groups and professors are invited to help classify anddefine, then summarizing ten design expressions of image collage, that is,"deconstruction and restructuring, geometric division, permutation, overlapping, texture, abstraction, destruction, reorganization, emotion, and heterogeneousness". In this study, it shows that photography is the basic concept of image collage design, and collage is the essential expression of image design. In addition, by the use of the four expressions mentioned above, the possibilities of various collage masterpieces can be presented. The creation of "city imagery" is as the theme of expression and also the verification of this research, so as to expand the vision of image design and creation in the"image reading era".
