台灣本土奇幻題材探討與創作
Abstract
本研究目的在於探討台灣本土文化元素，可否作為奇幻的題材，以作為文創產業的發想來源。並在蒐集與分析中，瞭解奇幻文化的起源、演進，以及近年的發展概況，可否提供在產業趨勢上作為參考。 接著在奇幻對「幻想」的啟發與創作教育上，是否有所影響。 最後並針對國外案例，對應導出「台灣本土奇幻題材」，以作為奇幻創作上的應用。然後依研究結果套用到實務創作上，以「台灣本土奇幻人物插畫創作」，作為研究與驗證。
藉由研究奇幻題材的概念與原則，在分析成功案例中，探究奇幻的創作原因與緣起，以瞭解奇幻的取材模式與方法，進而對應台灣本土元素，以瞭解台灣自身文化的重要與珍貴。
再經由實務的作品創作上，導入理論的探討與驗證，最後結論闡述奇幻的重要性，在產業發展上，在思想創作的啟發上，奇幻不僅是個類型，也是一種方法與態度。而台灣文化創作者們，應該更珍視自身文化寶庫，結合產業的創新作為，透過「奇幻」這個國際共通語言，將台灣文化傳導到全世界。
The purpose of this research is to explore whether the local cultural elements of Taiwan can be used as fantasy themes so as to be adopted by commercial industries. During the collect and analyzing period of this research, it is to understand the origin, evolution, and recent development of “fantasy” culture, which could be referenced to grasp the trend of the industry. It further explores whether fantasy influences the "Inspiration" and creative education. Then by using foreign cases, it tries to map “native Taiwanese fantasy theme” with the application of fantasy creation. The research results is then applied to a set of art creation, demonstrated through Taiwanese “fantasy” figures illustration as media of expression. Byadapting the concept and principles of fantasy themes from analyzed successful cases, this study explored the origin of the fantasy creation so as to understand the derived models and methods on creating it. Then the corresponding local elements of Taiwanese are matched to those models and methods. the understanding of the importance and value of Taiwan's own culture were emerged by the result. Through creative practice guided and verified by the theoretical approach, it concluded the importance of the “fantasy”. In creative industry and inspiration from creative thinking, “fantasy” does not only stand for an category of artwork but also a method and an attitude, as well as the value of native culture, therefore creators who inherit Taiwanese culture should value it more. The result of this study also suggested that creators could combine industrial innovation with the "Fantasy elements"- an international common language, so Taiwanese culture would spread to the whole world.
