Abstract
隨著科技的進步與發達，各式的科技已經逐漸地廣泛應用在特殊教育上。本文旨在針對輔助性科技的基本意含作深入地探討，並比較國內與美國在用詞、定義及內涵上之異同，俾使讀者對輔助性科技有更清晰的概念與了解。
The purpose of this article was to introduce the basic concepts of assistive technology, including its definition, and the terms used in Taiwan. The author also compared the similarities and differences of assistive technology used in Taiwan and in the United States.
