桃園縣國民中學教師甄選制度之研究

Abstract

本研究旨在探討桃園縣國民中學教師對現行教師甄選制度之知覺與認同程度,進而提出可行性的建議,以供教育行政機關及學校之參考。主要研究方法係採問卷調查法,在先行文獻探討獲得立論基礎後據以設計問卷,並以桃園縣公立國民中學教師為對象,依學校規模採分層隨機取樣方式,抽取60所國中共507位受試者進行問卷調查量測,並對回收問卷予以分類與編碼,運用描述性統計分析、卡方檢定(chi-square test)之題項適合度考驗(goodness of fit test)、百分比同質性考驗(test for homogeneity)、皮爾森相關分析(Pearson´s analysis of correlation)與迴歸分析(regression analysis)之方法進行分析,獲致以下七點重要結論: 一、桃園縣國民中學教師普遍贊同教師甄選制度之現行做法。 二、桃園縣國民中學教師最能贊同教師甄選制聯服會之運作。 三、桃園縣國民中學教師高度贊同教師甄選制度中的教師專業表現成效。 四、桃園縣國民中學教師對教師甄選制度現行做法之高低贊同程度,有顯著性差異。 五、桃園縣國民中學教師對教師甄選制度贊同度,會因其年資、職務及教評委員身分背景的不同而有顯著差異。 六、桃園縣國民中學教師甄選制度現行做法中,以試教階段各項作法對甄選制度實施成效較具正向影響力。 七、桃園縣國民中學教師甄選制度之運作機制,對甄選制度實施成效最具正向影響力。 最後,依據本研究結果,分別就教育行政主管機關、聯服會、學校及後續研究等提出建議如下: 一、對教育行政主管機關的建議 (一)擇期召開桃園縣有關國中教師甄選制度的研討會。 (二)因應缺額逐年減少,教師甄選制度應與時並進。 二、對教師甄選聯服會的建議 (一)教師甄選制度應更臻完善,並符應選才需求。 (二)調整筆試命題科目與配分比例。 (三)聘任具有公正與專業性的試教委員。 三、對學校的建議 (一)加強宣導教師甄選制度內涵及重要性。 (二)鼓勵教師積極參與教評會組織及甄選工作。 (三)修訂建立合宜的教師專業之複試甄選內容。 四、未來後續研究之建議 (一)加強國中教師甄選制度各面向的研究。 (二)進行承辦學校教師甄選工作之研究。 關鍵字:教師甄選制度、教師專業表現
Abstract The study tries to research on the attitudes of the Junior High School teachers in Taoyuan County towards both the current system of teacher selection, and also to provide some practical suggestions to Education Institutes as a reference. In order to do the survey, a questionnaire is developed to gather data at ramdon from 507 public high school teachers in sixty schools in Taoyuan County. The findings of the study, which are analyzed by means of the Descriptive Statistics, the Goodness of Fit Test of Chi-Square Test, the Test for Homogeneity, Pearson’s Analysis of Correlation, and Regression Analysis are included below: 1. Most of the junior high school teachers in Taoyuan County agree with the current system of teacher selection. 2. The junior high school teachers in Taoyuan County highly agree with the arrangement of Teacher Selection Joint Service Committee. 3. The junior high school teachers in Taoyuan County highly agree with the effects of teachers’ professional performances with the system of teacher selection. 4. There is a significant difference among the junior high school teachers in Taoyuan County with regard to the current system of teacher selection. 5. There is a significant difference among the junior high school teachers in Taoyuan County on account of their teaching years, positions, or part of faculty evaluation committee. 6. Concerning the current system of teacher selection, the teaching period has the better positive effects. 7. The system of teacher selection has the most positive effects on practice. In conclusion, on the basis of the results of the study, some suggestions for Educaiton Execution Institutions, Teacher Selection Joint Service Committee, and further studies are proposed: 1. For Education Execution Institutions: (1) Irregularly Hold the conferences about the system of teacher selection in Taoyuan. (2) The system should be improved because of the less teacher opening. 2. For Teacher Selection Joint Service Committee: (1) The system should be more mature and match with the requests of teachers’ professional performances. (2) The subjects of written tests should be proportioned. (3) Employ fair-minded and professional evaluation members. 3. For Institutes: (1) Enhance the significances of the teacher selection system. (2) Encourage teachers to participate in the Teacher Evaluation Organization and the tasks of teacher selection more. (3) Set up the proper contents for the final test. 4. Suggestions for further studies in the future: (1) Encourage the different aspects of the researches on the system of teacher selection.
